Obituary

Paul’s life began on September 5, 1947, in Watervliet, Michigan. Paul grew up in Watervliet where he graduated high school in 1965. After high school, Paul proudly served in the United States Army during Vietnam and was awarded two Purple Hearts. Upon returning home Paul went to work as a welder and retired from Modern Light Metals in Coloma. In his free time Paul was a sports fanatic cheering on the Detroit Lions, Tigers, and Red Wings. He also enjoyed playing cards and computer games. Paul never met a stranger and loved visiting with his neighbors.

Paul’s greatest joy came in spending time with his loving family he leaves behind to cherish his memory including; his wife Nancy (Beach) Sadler, daughter Paula (Jeff) Stakley, his son Jason “Eddie” (Rebecca) Sadler, eight grandchildren, and his sister Nancy (Mick) Schmid.

Paul died Monday, December 12, at home surrounded by family. His parents Paul and Alice (Becht) Sadler precede Paul in death. Paul’s family will gather privately to celebrate his life.  In lieu of flowers please send donations to Disabled American Veterans (DAV.org).
