Vrginia was born March 12,1929, in Lawrence, Michigan. After graduating from Lawrence High School and attending Parsons Business School, she moved to Watervliet to work for Dr. A. A. McNabb where she met and married Norman Warsko in 1948. Virginia received her Cosmetology license in 1968 and worked for three beauty shops in Coloma before opening Warsko’s Styling Salon in 1976. She retired at the age of 88. In her early years Virginia enjoyed working in her flowers. Later on she enjoyed reading and loved crossord puzzels, word searches and Scrabble.
Virginia leaves behind a loving family to cherish her memory including four children, Sharon (Ed) Koshar of Marcellus, Dough (Linda) Warsko of Watervliet, Dennis Warsko of Watervliet, Bob Warsko of Marcellus, and daugher-in-law Karen Warsko of Watervliet; nine grandchidren Kristin (Mike) Statler of Portage, Lisa (Scott) Bainbridge of Marcellus, Ryan (Russ Martin) Koshar of San Diego, Dennis Warsko Jr. of Benton Harbor, Adam Warsko of Watervliet, Kate Strong of Grand Rapids, Kayla (And;y) Kenney of Midland, Logan Warsko of Twin Falls, Mitch Warsko of Dowagiac; eight great grandchildren and lots of nieces and nephews.
Virginia died Monday, June 6, 2022, at South Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Community. She is preceded in death by her husband Norman Warsko, a son W. Norman Warsko, a grandson Jacob Warsko, her parents Arthur and Mildred (Sutherby) Moses and siblings Max, George, Jud Moses and Naomi Beeching.
Virginia will be buried at North Shore Memory Gardens in a private service. Hutchins Funeral Home in Watervliet is assisting Virginia’s family with arrangements. You are invited to leave a message of comfort for her family.
