Warren’s life began March 24, 1927 in Alba, Michigan. Warren grew up in Alba where he graduated from Alba Community Schools. After high school he proudly served his country during WWII in the United States Army. When Warren returned home from the war he met the love of his life, Kathryn who was in Alba visiting friends. When Warren and Kathryn married he moved to Southwest Michigan where Kathryn was from and he went to work as a machinist at LECO. Warren was a member of Blossomland Amateur Radio Association, Coloma United Methodist Church, and enjoyed photography, taking pictures and developing his pictures. You could also find Warren enjoying nature watching the birds, squirrels, and deer.
Warren leaves a loving family to cherish his memory which includes a brother Jean (Carol) Haynes, two sisters Ella Harelson and Mary Alice Burkholder, and several nieces and nephews. Warren died May 28. His wife Kathryn Haynes, and parents Benjamin and Clarinda (Andrews) Haynes precede Warren in death.
A memorial service will be celebrated Saturday, June 23, at 2:00 PM at Coloma United Methodist Church with military rites. Memorials may be made in Warren’s memory to Caring Circle Hospice or Coloma United Methodist Church.
